Compliance Program Effectiveness Evaluation
Compliance programs are required as a condition of participation in Medicare and Medicaid. In New York State, Title 18 Part 521 "Provider Compliance Programs" speaks clearly of the need for an effective compliance program. OMIG guidance goes further by establishing an expectation that providers must conduct periodic evaluations of the compliance program to ensure effective operation.
The Taiga Group can provide customized compliance program evaluation, tailored to the specific size, complexity and resource capability of any provider. We partner with our clients in the evaluation and evolution of corporate compliance programs to ensure an open, honest and complete assessment is achieved. Our specialized evaluators celebrate best practice, identify opportunities for improvement and then provide a project plan to implement recommendations.
